Why are IT guys that get paid to be IT guys such dorks?

Yeah, I don't know why either. There are 2 really smart guys in this office that are perfectly normal, but for some reason, all companies seem bound in hiring the nerdiest dorks for IT needs. They can't tell when someone is joking. They can't understand sarcasm. They don't know what it's like to kiss a real girl. They've never touched a real girl. They don't have any They laugh at bad computer jokes and shout insults like, "Oh yeah? Well you let Windows manage your virtual memory!" I can't figure it out. A person's IT intelligence is not dictated by their geekiness. It is measured by how much they like Viper and Dark Justice.
